Bryn Norel is a fantasy author on a mission to reignite classic epic fantasy with modern storytelling.

A long-time Dungeon Master and Dungeons and Dragons player, Bryn’s recent unemployment sparked his journey into writing. Armed with a lifetime of campaign ideas, he embarked on a campaign to find untrodden territory in a well-worn arena, blending fantasy, mystery, and elements of complex heists. Built on a foundation of tabletop game mechanics, Bryn’s stories return to the tradition of fast-paced adventure driven by ensemble casts of richly developed characters who often need to rely on intelligence to outwit their opponents. His work is recognizable by its modern, witty dialogue, clever heists, and limited world-building exposition.

When not immersed in the world of Venn, Bryn can be found experimenting in the kitchen or at the grill, fishing, or enjoying time with his wife and three children.
