Welcome, readers! I'm Bryn Norel, and I write epic fantasy novels set in the mythical world of Venn.

My mission is to rekindle the classic feel of 1980s and 90s hopepunk fantasy but with a fresh twist. I build stories with fast-paced plots, sharp dialogue, and ensemble casts of richly developed characters. In my first series, The Unexpected Vanguard, the characters refuse to accept a grimdark future, but aren’t powerful enough to defeat their foes through brute force alone, resorting to grift and heist tactics for any chance at success.
